Made in Hamburg – the Hamburg Short Film Night

The Made in Hamburg competition category has now become an institution within the ShortFilmFestival thanks to the friendly and continuing support extended by the Hamburg Cultural Foundation. Two packed programmes will present the latest work by a number of Hamburg’s film-makers and video artists who are as varied and different as life itself.

A jury of three specialists in the field and the audiences attending the screenings will then be asked to decide who should receive the two prizes of Euro 1250.

Anyone who enjoys nothing more than sitting in the midst of a sold-out cinema, discovering the good the bad and the amazing being produced in their own backyard and perhaps even making use of the opportunity to quiz the film-makers themselves as to what, where, how, why and why never again, we have some advice – come on in, the water’s lovely, arrive on time (the best seats are always the first to go) because, if you arrive late, it’ll be 12 months before it all comes round again.
