Hamburg Short Film Night
Spot on Hamburg
At the Hamburg Short Film Night the focus will be on fresh films from the northern German metropolis, offering a unique chance to watch all Hamburgian films from the German Competion in one programme.
Thanks to creative Hamburgians, there isn't only a view of the port, but the rustling sound of German forests will be heard as well. A stroll down the Reeperbahn leads to a slippery slope and there is plenty of advice how to handle the sudden loss of your job or nuclear fission. The representation of Hamburg in the German Competition is as diverse as life itself between Ottensen, Eimsbüttel and Sternschanze.
Films by artists from Hamburg participating in the NoBudget Competition and by young talents from the KurzFilmSchule project are shown out of competition.
