FestivalClub – Harkortstraße 125

What the discerning film enthusiast wants after a long day full of shorts is, of course, more films, loud music, cool drinks and a bar that is open until the sun comes up. Every night during the festival, our club at Harkortstraße 125 will open its doors at 10 p.m. and cater for all the culinary and amusement needs of its guests.

WEDNESDAY 9 JUNE FSK SUNDAY SERVICE DJ-SET

from 10.30 p.m. onwards

Put together by an eight-person team, The Sunday Service first went on the air in April 1996 on Hamburg's independent, non-commercial radio station FSK. But only the notoriously argumentative brother and sister duo of Sandra and Patrick Ziegelmüller have had the ideological stamina to stay on the course – presenting the
3-hour music show right from the first broadcast up to the present. When you tune-in to The Sunday Service you can be sure of hearing a most tasteful selection of the latest releases between pop and electronic music.

The Sunday Service has been one of the front-runners in the Spex music magazine readers' poll for »best radio show« this last three years, even beating off all comers to the top position in 2002.

THURSDAY 10 JUNE DJ LA CHATTE À HAMBURG™

10.00 – 11.58 p.m. and from 2:00 a.m. onwards

La Chatte started her career in the year 2000. Now she is one of Hamburg's most highly-regarded DJs. Her concept has always been the same: good dance music. It doesn't matter whether it's garage, soul, punk, electro, pop, Scandinavian shit, hardcore, rock'n'roll, eighties trash new wave, hip-hop, French sixties, beat or hardrock – as long as it kicks! La Chatte covers most styles without losing her sense of true bricolage.

Because if it rocks, it just can't go wrong. La Chatte has driven clubs and bars such as Rosi's Bar, Rote Flora, Bp1, Hafenklang, Fundbureau and The Living Room of the Better Days Project into a frenzy.

FRIDAY 11 JUNE FETTBRUTZLER SOUNDSYSTEM

from 11.00 p.m. onwards

SATURDAY 12 JUNE DJ ROCCNESS / DJ ANTON SILBER

from 11.00 p.m. onwards

SUNDAY 13 JUNE THE PROSECCO NATION RAPID RESPONSE UNIT

10 p.m. – 11.58 p.m. and from 2 a.m. onwards

Prosecco Nation stand for beats, close cooperation with the public, and tenderness – all in one fell swoop. Whatever time of the year, Processco Nation are on patrol, both indoors and outdoors. In the winter they do their thing snuggled up safe and warm inside cosy little huts, and in summer they head off down to the Elbe armed with portable record players. Although they're known to occasionally play the odd folk record or two outside, when they get inside it's a completely different kettle of fish: there they subject their audience to an unrelenting torrent of truly horrible electro-disco. Nevertheless, they are still not above throwing in a few crowd-pleasing overground sounds if the circumstances call for it.

MONDAY 14 JUNE DJ ROUNDTABLE

from 11 p.m. onwards

DJ Roundtable: 1 mixing desk, 6 record players – music played directly on the roundtable, either clockwise or anti-clockwise.
