Free open air short film tour

A Wall is a Screen transforms the public space into a pop up open-air cinema. Over the years many buildings that were used for these projections do not exist any more, and some of the once so numerous film formats are facing the same destiny. To resist this cinematic amnesia we will celebrate the 30th edition of the Hamburg ShortFilmFestival with many screening formats from Super 8 to 35mm as well as VHS and U-matic. Follow the white noise of the VHS tapes and get into the groove of the 35mm projectors. Just come along and follow the projection team to unknown places and locations, where architecture and film create an extraordinary symbiosis.

Free entry. The tour will last about 90 minutes and will take place with any weather.
