›I like‹ – a somewhat overused term to indicate a general affection. But the films in this programme don’t just please, they are loved. Loved by members of the festival’s selection committees, who express their love not by clicking a button, but by sharing their love and screening their favourite films on the big screen. Tonight we invite the festival team to present their darlings and tell their love stories – and to offer a small look behind the scenes of the film selection process.
