Bringing young filmmakers and producers together to promote promising talents is an affair of the heart at the Hamburg International ShortFilmFestival. Consequently ›Talent meets Producer‹ was developed nine years ago – a project of its own with enormous popularity on both sides.

In the run-up to the festival, established german producers are invited to preview films of the current program. Then they select the filmmakers they want to meet for a one-on-one interview.

These two most influential forces of the Short Film are brought together at the festival for a personal exchange in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere – a unique opportunity for young filmmakers!

For this year’s ›Talent meets Producer‹ we are looking forward to welcome representatives of the following production companies: Filmtank, Dirk Manthey Film, Wüste Film, Riva Filmproduktion, Relevant Film, Detailfilm, Beleza Film, One Two Film, Tamtam Film, Schattenkante and Director’s Darling Development.
